Nevis is a Super Soft DK Corriedale wool yarn. Corriedale sheep were developed here in NZ for their good long staple and well-defined crimp. This yarn is soft and bouncy, and wow, does it take the colour beautifully!! I've got some gorgeous colours on this non-superwash DK version of my 4ply Tarras, suitable for all sorts of projects*
• hand-dyed, 8 ply / DK weight
• approx 197 m per 100 g
• gentle hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry
*Not recommended for socks due to the lack of sturdy fibres and the risk of holes forming.

Back in the day, Holden brought out a large luxury car called a Brougham. They came in an array of fantastic late 60s / early 70s colours, and this yarn's colour is reminiscent of the olive greens that could be seen cruising the streets in the 70s.
